The first 2 frames remind me of "Meshes of the Afternoon" as I was tossed from one side of the frame to the other. I don't think that chaotic opening was intentional. Your series is clear but could use some editing. Each new frame should give new information and some frames are redundant like, #6/#7, #8/#9. #13/#14. #16/#17. I do think that #13 is the sweetest photo with the soft snow dusting the dogs fur.
I loved the series. My take on things is a lot about what I am feeling, so on the "feel" side I was getting more and more warmed by the dog, especially in the CUs. The snow on his or her head is one of my favorites. As far as storytelling, it was easy to follow and just by deleting a few of the shots it would be a clear series.
